Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.  If God has impressed upon your heart to serve Him in a specific way or would like to know more how you can better get involved, please be sure to let the Pastor or one of our staff members know.

Ministry Outreach

Cedar Ridge is thrilled to be part of the spread of the Gospel of Christ around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and church planters and supporting these with our money and with our prayers. Currently Cedar Ridge is financially supporting over 50 missionaries and church planters at home and overseas.  Every Thursday night and Saturday mornings members of Cedar Ridge volunteer their time to carry Gospel tracts, John & Romans, and church invites to the doorsteps of those living in the surrounding communities.

Music & Choir

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and choir ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. . These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for God’s purposes. From running the sound boards to updating the church website and Facebook account, there are ample opportunities to get involved in the media and technological aspects of our church.

Family & Couples Ministry

Marriages and families can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage or home. Our classes, conferences and special family and couples activities give our members a place to be listened to, understood, helped, and encouraged to “Build a little bit of heaven on earth”.  Struggling couples and families have, by God’s grace, seen marriages saved, and family relationships repaired. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse, and children the same with their parents.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Saturday morning, a group of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, members pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs that are given in our Wednesday evening prayer meeting.
